Scott Evers is an award-winning writer and director of documentary films. He is the recipient of the George Foster Peabody Award and Emmys for films on America’s social ills of youth violence, poverty, and HIV/AIDS.

He founded the Amitist Organization, a coalition focused on media campaigns to educate youth for health and well-being. Current work includes countering messages of violent extremism and radicalization in the United States and the United Kingdom.
